8.5.2 HDMI (High-Definition Media Interface
HDMI is a digital interface for connecting high-definition and ultra-high-definition
devices such as computer monitors, high-definition TVs, Blu-ray players, game
consoles, high-definition cameras, and so on.
HDMI can be used to transfer uncompressed video and compressed or uncompressed
audio signals
8.5.3 DVI
DVI is a high-speed digital connector between a computer controller and a display
device such as a monitor. It was developed to transmit uncompressed digital video
signals and replace the analog VGA technology
Mini DVI DVI
There are three types of DVI connectors that depend on the type of signal that passes
through them:
● DVI-I: Supports both digital and analog signals.
● DVI-D: Supports only digital signals.
● DVI-A: Supports only analog signals
