Google Drive App

Google Drive is a cloud storage app that allows users to store, share, and access files

from anywhere connected to the Internet. Google Drive is a

powerful tool that enables users to manage their files while

navigating.

Cloud storage applications usually perform three main tasks;

upload, sync, and share files with others.

Each Google account comes with a free storage capacity of 15GB that is used via

Google applications such as Google Drive, Gmail, and Google

Photos. Away from the free version, you can also upgrade to

Google One. Google One increases storage to 100GB or more

depending on the plan you choose and you can get additional

storage up to 30TB for $300 per month.

For faculty members and graduate students in Egypt when

registering using the account managed by the educational

institution or what is known as the college's academic email

(containing the abbreviation of the college name before the

abbreviation of the university name), Google Drive allows storing

an unlimited amount of data without any fees.

After logging in, you will be taken to the main screen of the application where you can
see all your files and folders stored in your Google Drive account. You can upload new
files by pressing the "+" icon in the lower right corner of the screen and selecting
"Upload". You can also create new folders by pressing the "+" icon and selecting
"Folder".
To view or edit a file, simply tap on it and the file will open with its app if it is installed
on your device. For example, if you click on a Word document, it will open with the
Microsoft Word application if it is installed on your device.
