▪ Huge initial capital expenditures due to the need to purchase all cloud
infrastructure tools and to use manpower to prepare and maintain the
cloud. In turn, this makes it an expensive solution compared to public
cloud alternatives, especially for short-term projects.

                           ▪ Because the private cloud is usually more secure for use in sensitive
security applications, these high security restrictions may allow limited
access for the users to the private cloud services outside the
company/organization that uses this type of services.

From the above, we can predict the nature of users and
beneficiaries of private services, where the list includes:

                           ▪ Highly regulated companies such as financial and healthcare
                                institutions.

                           ▪ Technology companies with strong security and complete control
                                needs over their infrastructure.

                           ▪ Large organizations that require advanced and customized data centers
                                solutions.

                    C. Hybrid Clouds

As the name indicates, hybrid clouds are a combination of both
public and private clouds where hybrid cloud customers
generally host primary and sensitive business applications on
their own servers to provide more security and control, while
they store their secondary applications on the public cloud
providers’ sites. Therefore, this type of cloud has the following
                       advantages:

                           ▪ Providing the best of the advantages that private and public clouds
                                have to offer.

                           ▪ What runs is better controlled, for example, private cloud can be used
for security-demanding applications; and public cloud for those
applications that are frequently used but have a lower security factor.

                           ▪ Public cloud resources are only used when they are needed, that is,
when there is a rise in usage and demand. In this case, the transition is
then made to the public cloud to use the additional computing power
provided by it. But, when demand and usage are low for example, the
                                private cloud can be sufficient.

On the other hand, these clouds suffer from:

                           ▪ The difficulty of seeing and controlling the infrastructure owned by the
public cloud provider is just like it with the public cloud.
