5 Types of deployment:
5.1 Public Cloud:
In the public cloud, services are provided to everyone via the internet. This type
is cost-effective but may not be the best option for organizations relying on
sensitive data due to potential security issues. Examples of public cloud services
include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Google AppEngine, and Windows
Azure Services Platform.
5.2 Private Cloud:
The private cloud is exclusively used by one organization through its data centers.
The goal of a private cloud is to have complete control over your data centers.
Although private clouds are costly, they offer a higher level of security and
control.
5.3 Hybrid Cloud:
The hybrid cloud is a mix of elements from both public and private clouds.
Companies can host critical applications on the private cloud for added security
and control, while migrating some applications to the public cloud to avoid
potential data loss.
6 Types of cloud services:
Cloud services include well-known categories such as:
6.1 Software as a Service (SaaS):
Examples include Office 365 and Google Apps.
6.2 Platform as a Service (PaaS):
Examples include AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Windows Azure, and Google App Engine.
