4.4.6 Cloud Computing
Cloud computing represents the delivery of computer services such as servers,
storage, databases, networks, and software over the Internet. Companies that
provide these services are called cloud service providers and usually charge fees
based on usage.
Advantages of cloud computing: Scalability and flexibility - Cost savings - Improved
collaboration - Data loss prevention
Disadvantages of cloud computing: Full dependence on internet connectivity -
Security concerns as services rely on an external network, making it vulnerable to
various types of cyber attacks - Lack of complete control over all services
