CHILD ONLINE PROTECTION
Children nowadays live in a digital era where the Internet and other forms of technology are a part of their
everyday life. While there are many opportunities for learning and socializing on the Internet, there are also
several threats to children's safety and security. Parents, teachers, and governments now have serious
concerns about how to protect children's internet safety; they should know well how to protect their children
online against cyber dangers. Therefore, this chapter aims to provide parents with practical tips and
instructions for protecting and securing their children in cyberspace, addressing those risks and threats, and
opening dialogue with children about them and the means of securing them on the Internet.
