✓ Ensuring prompt response and comprehensive support
This goal focuses on intensifying the state's efforts, especially within the frontline dealing with the child during
the response and support cycle, by enhancing the efficiency of its workers and developing mechanisms for
coordination and integration between the partner entities in this field. Besides, providing full support to the
child according to the best international practices until he/she becomes an active member of society again,
whether as a victim or perpetrator, both of whom need rehabilitation.
Current Available Services
The government has taken an important step to protect children online by launching a hotline for child online
protection. This hotline, 16000, is hosted by the NCCM and is available to parents, teachers, and children who need
help dealing with online risks such as cyberbullying, online harassment, and exposure to inappropriate content. The
hotline provides a safe and confidential space where callers can report concerns, seek advice, and access support from
trained professionals. This initiative is a positive step towards creating a safer online environment for children and
protecting their well-being.
