- 1. Select the border of the text box or shape. When you do this, the drawing
tools appear.

- To change multiple shapes or text boxes, click the first shape or text box, and
then hold down Ctrl while clicking other shapes or text boxes.

- 2. On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Fill, and, under Theme Colors,
choose the color that you want

Note: The Text Fill and Text Outline menus may not be active until you start typing in
the shape.
