12.7.5IMAP
     The Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) is one of the most widely used
     protocols on the Internet for retrieving information from email. Through this
     protocol, the email server can be addressed to retrieve or delete previous messages,
     send a new message, and the ability to store these messages on the computer for
     handling them when the internet connection is interrupted. There are several
     programs that work with this protocol, such as Microsoft Outlook and Thunderbird.

     Activity15 :Training to Fix the Internet Connection
     Activity Objective: Training on the steps to troubleshoot internet connection issues.
     Needed Material: A computer Connected to the internet
     Activity Period: 20 Minutes
     Procedures:
     The trainer explains the following troubleshooting steps and tests them whenever
     possible:
      1. Verify the wired or wireless connection.
      2. Ensure the proper functioning of network system software by executing the

          command "ping 127.0.0.1".
      3. Confirm the IP address and DNS server settings.
      4. Verify access to the Default Gateway using the "ping" command.
      5. Ensure access to the DNS server through "ping" and "trace" commands.
      6. Confirm access to known websites like google.com using the "ping" and "trace"

          commands.
