● Utilizing a Wireless Repeater: Wi-Fi extenders, also known as repeaters or
boosters, work to enhance the Wi-Fi signal by "capturing" the wireless signal from
the router or main access point and rebroadcasting it in areas farther away. The
Wireless Distribution System allows for a wireless link to an access point on IEEE
802.11 networks, enabling the network to expand beyond its usual range by using
additional access points without the need for wired connections between each
distributed access point. In essence, this system facilitates the expansion of a Wi-
Fi network.

● Monitoring Intruders on the Wireless Network: The network weakness may be
due to unauthorized individuals gaining access to the network, either because
there is no network password or the password is weak. You can use a program
like Wireless Network Watcher to display all devices connected to the wireless
network and identify unauthorized devices.
