13.3.2HTTPS Everywhere
The HTTPS Everywhere tool utilizes the HTTPS protocol if available, even if the default
protocol for the website is HTTP. The HTTPS protocol encrypts the data transmitted
between the browser and the web server, preventing anyone from viewing or reading
the data during browsing .
Activity 17 :Training to add HTTPS Everywhere to Firefox
Activity Objective: Adding the HTTPS Everywhere tool to the Firefox browser
Materials Needed: Computer connected to the internet and the Firefox browser
Activity Duration: 10 minutes
Procedures:
The trainee explains and performs the following steps whenever possible:
1. The trainee goes to the link https://www.eff.org/ar/https-everywhere
2. The trainee clicks on "install in Firefox."
3. Press on Continue to Installation
