Below we will learn about the most important components of the motherboard
CENTERAL PROCESSING UNIT (CPU): CENTERAL PROCESSING UNIT
(CPU)
It is symbolized by the abbreviation CPU
and known as the processor. It is a small
electronic chip that contains complex
electronic circuits that executes the
instructions of the computer program, and
carries out the basic arithmetic, logical, and
input and output operations of the computer
system. The central processing unit is
considered the brain of the computer. It
consists of two basic parts: the control unit
and the arithmetic and logic unit.
1. ARITHMERTIC LOGICAL UNIT
It is symbolized by the abbreviation ALU, and the arithmetic and logic unit occupy
a place in the heart of the central processing unit in the form of a digital circuit,
and inside it arithmetic and logical operations are processed, as it is responsible
for implementing all basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction,
division, and multiplication, and it also performs... By logical operations such as
(OR, AND), comparisons are also made between results to reach the desired or
correct result.
2. CONTROL UNIT
It is symbolized by the abbreviation CU, and it is considered the brain of the
computer, through which commands can be issued to all sections of the computer
and coordination among them to carry out the required functions among them.
The more powerful the processor chip, the faster and more efficient the system. A
unit called megahertz (MHz) is used to measure processor speed, which is a unit
that means a measure of frequency or a measurement of the number of times
something is repeated during a unit second.
