Digital literacy is concerned with understanding, assimilating and generally being
familiar with the sciences and use of information technology in carrying out the
        required work.

Therefore, we place in your hands a sincere effort to contribute to the
implementation of what is stated in the Egyptian Constitution and a step on the
way within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030, as these successive training
courses aim to eradicate digital illiteracy and advance the scientific and cultural
        level of the Egyptian citizen.

Basic components of a personal computer:

               Computer?
A computer is an electronic device that accepts inputs (data and
instructions), processes them, and then produces outputs as required. Thus,
the computer can receive the user's instructions, process them, and then
provide the desired results back to the user.

        Computer features:

The computer has an important advantage that it is programmable,
meaning it can be programmed and used in a variety of tasks that usually
require human resources. Therefore, the computer can be considered an
alternative for many tasks. Humanity, moreover, performs these tasks with
the following features that make computers so special:
                ● Speed – Computers perform tasks in less than a millionth of a second.
                ● Accuracy – Computers perform tasks without errors. Humans.
                ● Attention - Computers perform tasks and repeat them thousands of times
without getting bored or tired Humans
                ● Huge storage capacity - Computers make it easy to store huge amount of
               data/information in Very compact appliances

      Computer Components:

         • Hardware: These are the actual components of the computer that can be seen
and touched. This includes the system unit, and everything connected to it,
such as the screen, keyboard, mouse...etc.

         • Intangible components (Software) that cannot be seen, but the effect of their
operation can be seen, such as system programs and application programs.

-The following diagram will help us identify both the hardware and software
components of the personal computer, so we will discuss them in detail next:
