1. Microsoft OneDrive Cloud Storage Software
• Introduction to Microsoft OneDrive
OneDrive is a tool provided by Microsoft to facilitate the backup
process once you start using it on any device. The software is a simple
way to make your files available on any device where it allows you to
access your data and their backup if they get corrupted on your local
device for example.
You can take a photo on your phone, edit it on your tablet, then
publish it online through your computer. In addition, files can be
exchanged with friends constantly and instantly, allowing them to
work on the same file or project at the same time. Also, it allows you
to access previous versions of your important data.
Any user who has a Microsoft account can use OneDrive immediately
and utilize its 5GB of free storage capacity, which can be increased with
monthly or annual subscriptions. If you do not have a Microsoft
account, it is easy to obtain one and then go to onedrive.live.com to
start benefiting from the service.
• Setting up and using OneDrive
1. Register or sign in to OneDrive
The best part about using OneDrive on Windows 10 is that it comes
pre-installed where this eliminates the need for additional
downloads. If you sign into Windows 10 with a Microsoft account,
you don't even need to sign into OneDrive, it takes care of that for
you. However, syncing OneDrive with other cloud storage services
like Google Drive and Dropbox requires additional steps.
