Digital or (electronic) wallet applications - (Digital Wallets):
They are electronic applications that organize all financial movements. These
wallets contain all user data in an encrypted form and are therefore installed on the
phone or personal computer. Through them, this data can be saved and used to pay
via the Internet. Digital wallets appeared due to the urgent need to use them and
the ease of communication via the Internet. And the resulting facilitation of
operations, such as purchases, which include cash transfers, whether small or large,
and thus speeding their arrival to the other party.
There are many major companies and banks that use electronic wallet technology
through Internet pages, by using devices supported by many secure programs, in
addition to a protocol called (Secure Financial Transactions Protocol), which is called
Layer Secure Socket, meaning secure socket layer.
Digital wallet applications.
There are many digital wallet applications that work on personal computers and
others that work on mobile devices. Below is a look at both types:
