Printer

The printer enables you to transfer information processed
by a computer to paper. The printer's output is called a
hard copy.

Speakers or headphones are audio output devices
that output sound from the computer, for example,
audio playback, text-to-speech, system notifications,
etc.

Storage device

Secondary Memory:

All computers must have the ability to store information for a long time
even after the computer is turned off, and this is achieved with secondary storage
devices. There are a variety of secondary storage devices such as: hard disks, CD-
ROMs, flash drives, etc.

Types of storage units

HDD - Hard Disk Drive

The hard disk is the main secondary storage
device in a computer system.

It is a metal disk covered with a magnetic layer. Hard Disk Drive
Data is recorded by a read-write head when the
disks rotate. It stores programs and data files
permanently. An internal hard disk installed
inside the system unit.

There is also a portable external hard disk.

A hard drive usually has a storage capacity of 500 GB or more.
