14.3.2 - Dropdown List
If you want to make a list containing several choices inside the cell A1 on the

worksheet Sheet 2, such as the names of some governorates, instead of writing them
manually. Here you must use the Dropdown list feature by choosing “List” from the
Data Validation options.

Dropdown list in a cell:

you type all the choices that we want to use later in the dropdown list (For
example, the names of the governorates) in (Sheet 1) in the range from A1 to A7.
Select the cell A1 in (Sheet 2), then click on Data Validation and choose List. From
Source, choose the range of cells to be shown in the drop-down list. In our example,
it is: =Sheet1!$A$1:$A$7. Then click OK.
