19.5.6 – Difference Count ،CountA ،Count Blank:
               Although the range has not changed for the three functions from B3 to

           B10, the result is different due to the different role of the function used.

● Count:

Is a function designed to count cells that contain numeric values only

=COUNT (B3:B10)

=3

● CountA:

Is a function designed to count cells containing numeric or text values

=COUNTA (B3:B10)

=6

● Count Blank:

Is a function designed to count empty cells

=COUNTBLANK (B3:B10)

=2

19.5.7 - Text functions:

Excel allows a number of text functions, each of which can be used as follows:

LEN

Calculates the length of the text string and returns the number of text characters.

    Click on the cell where you want to show the result. Click the function key (fx) on
the Equations bar, to directly bring up the Mathematical Function dialog box. Select
the "LEN" function, then click (OK), then select the cell containing the text, then click
OK again.
