The most important difference between the two versions of the
program is in the Insert menu where the cloud version lacks some
command sets and some features, such as:
a. List of symbols.
b. Signature line, WordArt, header and footer.
c. Inserting 3D models, and SmartArt.
d. Many of the charts especially 3D ones.

5. Working in the background
The Excel cloud service can work in the background with
spreadsheets stored online, even when the device is turned off,
while collecting data through various forms. This is one of the
features of the cloud version that is not available in the desktop
version.

6. Participation and collaboration
Another advantage of the cloud version is the ability to share files
between users so that they can work at the same time and from
anywhere as long as the Internet is available.

The cloud presentation service aims to organize and display data,
information, business plans and lectures in an attractive and
innovative in an online way, rather than accomplishing that locally, in
certain device. Also, you can edit your uploaded presentations to the
cloud from any Internet-connected device and can share them with
others for viewing and collaboration on editing. Some examples of
providing cloud presentation services are Microsoft PowerPoint
Online, Google Slides, and Prezi.
