Create an extraction card with six to eight fields only. Extract the data from five good sources,
and tie every finding to a page or a table. Ask the tool to organize the fields or reveal missing
values, then verify against the original texts.
Write a synthesis of three paragraphs: the main pattern, the difference or the exception,
and the limits of confidence and the implication. Do not write a categorical recommendation
if the evidence does not permit it. Add a table showing the sources, the designs, the findings,
and the limitations.
Verify every reference through the publisher or a metadata service, open the identifier, and
record the publication status. Then create an AI usage log showing the tool, the purpose,
and the outputs accepted and rejected. Finally, ask another person to trace one claim from
your paragraph back to its source; if they stumble, repair the chain of evidence.
7.13.1 Steps of Execution
1. Define the problem, the question, the definitions, and the scope of work on one page.
2. Create a bilingual term table, then formulate queries that can be logged.
3. Search at least two sources and record the date, the query, and the number of results.
4. Set the inclusion and exclusion criteria before the final screening.
5. Remove duplicates, screen the records, and record the reasons for exclusion.
6. Appraise the relevance and quality of the selected sources with questions suited to the
design.
7. Extract the evidence into one shared matrix with the location of every finding.
8. Write a synthesis showing agreement, difference, explanation, and uncertainty.
9. Verify the references, the quotations, the identifiers, and the publication status.
10. Create an AI usage log, a decision log, and version records.
11. Run a reverse audit from claim to source and from source to claim.
12. Show the map to a colleague and record two changes based on their comments.
