Horizontal and vertical rulers help you align text, graphics, tables and other elements in
your document. Pressing the box next to the ruler inside the view tab displays the ruler. If
the vertical and horizontal ruler do not appear together, go to the File tab, choose Advanced
options, and under view, select the show vertical ruler box.

Used to show or hide grid lines that align objects in the document.

9.4.3-Navigation Pane

It allows you to move through the pages of a document in a structured view in order to
navigate to a page or title in a Word document as if you were looking for a title or pages
within your file. When you click on it, it opens a side screen that enables you to search
inside the file and access it quickly.
