5.17.3 Create curved or circular WordArt, and add other effects to
the text

- You can make text curve around a circular element.
- 1. Select the WordArt text or characters you want to change.
- The Drawing Tools Format tab appears.
- 2. To create a curved effect, on the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Effects

> Transform and choose the effect you want.
- Important: The Text Effects menu is different from the Shape Effects menu. If

the Transform option does not appear at the bottom of the list, make sure that
you have clicked the Text Effects list.
- In this example, the first curved transform effect is selected.
