5.17.1 For more uses of WordArt.

- Apply effects and shape styles to the box and background surrounding
WordArt, not to the text of the WordArt. So, to add effects to WordArt, such
as shadows, rotation, curves, outline colors, and fills, you can use the options
in the WordArt Styles group, including Text Fill, Text Outline, and Text Effects.

- Note: Depending on your screen size, you may only see WordArt Styles
icons.

5.17.2 Change the outline and fill color of WordArt text

- 1. Select the WordArt text or characters you want to change.
- The Drawing Tools Format tab appears.
- 2. On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Fill or Text Outline, and choose

the color you want.
- 3. Click outside the text box to see the effect.
