Protection against viruses and malware

     Activate the use of Windows Security against viruses and
     malware

     Malware

     It means any program whose tasks, all or one of which, cause some kind of
     damage to the system, such as espionage, sabotage, or draining system resources
     (time, processor, memory, storage unit, network resources...etc.).
     There are indicators through which you can detect whether your computer is
     infected with such programs, such as:
     - Pop-up windows appear when you browse websites that have nothing to do
     with the site
     - The presence of sites that you have not added to your favorites
     - A toolbar appears in your browser that you did not install
     Examples of common malware

         • Viruses

         • Worms
         • Trojan Horses
         • Adware
         • Phishing Scam messages
         • Spyware
         • Hoax or false report
     Common methods of malware infection
        1- Mobile storage media
        2- By email
        3- Through attachments
        4- Via a link in a message
        5- Browse suspicious websites
        6- Instant Messenger
        7- Open Ports
        8- Downloading Internet programs
