The Equivalency Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities held its regular meeting today, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, and attended by the committee members. The meeting focused on evaluating academic degrees obtained from universities not governed by the University Organization Law No. 49 of 1972 and its executive regulations, and determining their equivalency with degrees granted by Egyptian universities under this law.
It is worth noting that the Equivalency Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities aims to provide a fair assessment of qualifications obtained outside a country's educational system, enabling the holder to benefit from the privileges and rights associated with the qualification (such as practicing a certain profession or pursuing higher studies) within that country, and in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
