The Management Information Systems and Decision Support Unit is a core unit within the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center at the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities. It was established in 2006 with the aim of supporting and advancing the work of the Supreme Council of Universities and higher education, and improving the decision-making support process.
This is achieved through automating the Council's administrative operations and implementing them with modern and secure information and communication technology applications. This allows for the provision of up-to-date and accurate data to beneficiaries and decision-makers, assisting them in making informed decisions that ultimately serve the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities and higher education.
The unit also provides technical support to the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities, ensuring that it keeps pace with changes in the working environments of the Council's activities and updating the electronic systems implemented by the unit.
Thus, the unit ensures easy and rapid communication and supports collaboration between the unit, the Secretariat, and beneficiaries, achieving the desired goals of development and meeting modern requirements.
To achieve effective and prudent management and governance of administrative procedures related to the Supreme Council of Universities and higher education through a strong informational and procedural infrastructure.
