About the Unit
The Egyptian Universities Network was established in 1987 at its main headquarters within the Supreme Council of Universities building at Cairo University. The goal was to connect Egyptian universities to enable them to share various resources available at each institution. Consequently, the national network of Egyptian universities became the first informational network for universities in the Arab world.

2. Domain Registration: Registering domain names under the Egyptian top-level domains (.eg) and (.مصر) for all entities and individuals, with the Egyptian Universities Network being the main registrar for .eg.

Please note that a letter addressed to Prof. Dr. Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, stamped with the institution's seal, must be submitted.

Technical Consultations and Support
Providing technical consultations and support to universities and government entities through filling out a communication form to specify the required consultation or service. A response will be provided within 72 hours.
There are several requirements to follow when choosing a domain name, including:
