Vision
To establish a comprehensive system, both technical and administrative, to manage the development and updates provided by the educational sectors committees in higher education. This system will facilitate the creation of a database for study systems and academic regulations at public universities, assisting the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities in decision-making and in shaping policies for academic development and modernization.
Mission
To efficiently and skillfully execute the tasks assigned to the administration by the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities, within the legal framework (University Organization Law and its executive regulations – Decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities – Decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Reference frameworks and guidelines for preparing internal and academic regulations approved by the Supreme Council of Universities – Internal regulations of public university faculties approved by ministerial decisions). This is achieved through streamlining administrative procedures and active collaboration with other administrations of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities as an integrated system.
About the Administration
The General Administration for the Educational Sectors Committees Affairs at the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities handles the technical and administrative tasks required for studying the matters under the jurisdiction of the educational sectors committees, organized by a decision of the Supreme Council of Universities, which can be detailed here.
The administration contributes to organizing and preparing all activities such as meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops for training faculty members and their assistants, and field visits for evaluation and follow-up organized by the educational sectors committees.
One of the key responsibilities of the administration is to review proposals from public universities and other higher education institutions regarding internal and academic regulations for all study programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, whether academic, clinical, applied, technical, professional, or other newly established study systems. The administration also takes the necessary steps to issue ministerial decisions for the approval or amendment of these regulations.
Additionally, the administration handles the technical and administrative tasks related to studying requests submitted to the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities' General administration for Private Universities and Institutes regarding the academic equivalency of higher education institutions not subject to the University Organization Law.
