Prof. Dr. Mona Hagras, the Assistant Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, is participating in a symposium on implementing the Global Development Initiative and enhancing higher education cooperation between China and Indian Ocean countries.
This symposium, organized by Zhejiang Normal University in China from August 30 to September 12, 2024, aims to share China's experience in developing higher education with the participating countries and provide practical insights for education reform and development. It also actively supports the educational initiatives of the relevant countries, fosters mutual exchange among participants, improves educational and teaching capacities, and promotes ongoing cooperation between China and other countries in the field of education.
The symposium includes faculty members, experts, and prominent officials in the field of education. It aims to address the current situation and the training needs of teachers and officials in higher education through four methods: lectures, interactions, discussions, and cultural visits and experiences.
