Twitter application

An American social networking site that provides a
microblogging service that allows its users to send
tweets that will get retweets or likes from other
tweeters, with a maximum of 280 characters per
message. This is done directly via Twitter, or by
sending a short text message, instant messaging
programs, or applications provided by developers such
as Facebook and others. These updates appear on the
user's page, and friends can read them directly from
their home page or visit the user's personal
profile. Replies and updates can also be
received by email, RSS event feed, and by SMS,
using four service numbers that operate in the
United States, Canada, and India, in addition to
the number International, which all users
around the world can send to in the United
Kingdom. Twitter has been available in Arabic
since March 2012, and “tweets” is the plural of Jack Dorsey, co-founder and CEO of Twitter
        tweets.
Twitter was founded in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan
Williams. It was actually launched in July of the same year. The site was very popular
        all over the world.
