Facebook or Facebook: The most famous social media and can be

defined as a large social network and managed by the company

(Meta) Users can join networks organized by the city, workplace,

school or region in order to communicate with others and interact

with them as well as users can add friends to their friends list and

send messages to them and also update their profiles and

introduce friends themselves.

The site name refers to the photo guide offered by colleges and preschools in the

United States to faculty and freshmen that includes a description of campus members

as a means of identifying them.

Facebook was founded jointly by Mark Zuckerberg and Dustin

Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, who majored in computer

science, and were Zuckerberg's roommates when he was a

Harvard student, Membership of the site was initially limited Figure 45: Facebook
to Harvard students but later extended to other colleges in founders
Boston, Ivy League University and Stanford University.
