5.4 Freeze rows and columns

Freezing is keeping an area of the worksheet visible while you scroll to other
columns and rows of the worksheet.

Select the cell below the rows and to the left of the columns that you want to
keep visible on hover, and from the View tab, choose Freeze Panes.

5.5 Unfreeze rows and columns

To unfreeze columns, choose the “View” tab, then “Freeze Panes,” then
“Unfreeze panes,” as in Figure (48).
