Accordingly, this Protocol has been concluded out of the mutual commitment of the Supreme Council of Universities
and the National Telecom Regulatory Authority to consolidate cooperation, coordination, integration, and the
exchange of expertise and specialized training programs, as well as to advance scientific research in line with the latest
regional and international developments. This shall be achieved through the design and development of an effective
capacity-building program aimed at enhancing competencies and preparing promising cadres in the field of
cybersecurity.
This cooperation shall be implemented through the exchange of skills and expertise necessary to protect
cyberspace, secure the digital environment, and enhance technical capabilities to confront cyber risks and threats. It
shall also include raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity among targeted groups within and beyond the
academic community, within this framework, the parties have agreed to provide the Cybersecurity Training Program
as one of the training programs under the Fundamentals of Digital Transformation Certificate (FDTC). The program is
implemented through the Central Unit for Information Technology Training at the Electronic and Knowledge Services
Center of the Supreme Council of Universities and is made available to postgraduate students, faculty members and
their assistants at Egyptian universities, as well as employees of the State administrative apparatus and relevant
institutions participating in the implementation of the training and examination processes related to the
aforementioned certificate.
May this cooperation contribute to the continued prosperity, security, and advancement of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
