Glossary of terms:

component files.
4. Internet protocols: Are a set of rules that govern communication and exchange of data
over the Internet. Both sender and receiver must follow the same protocols to
communicate data.
5. URL: is used to specify addresses on the World Wide Web. A URL is the fundamental
network identification for any resource connected to the web (e.g., hypertext pages,
images, and sound files).
6. Internet applications: A type of application that uses the Internet to work successfully.
7. Search terms: The words you type in the search field to get your results
8. Egyptian University Libraries Confederation (EULC): It is an electronic portal that
includes a huge amount of information and service for all university disciplines through
the universities’ information network.
