In addition to using breakout rooms to divide students into small groups during class
meetings within the Microsoft Teams for Students program, where you can open or close
rooms more than once during the session or move participants between rooms, only
meeting organizers who use desktop versions can create and manage breakout rooms.
Microsoft Teams program explained to teachers:
Microsoft Teams is a messaging tool that enables participants to text between
themselves whether they are in the work office or working remotely. Microsoft Teams for
Students also supports a group chat room service with conversations, where participants
can switch from a regular chat to a one-click video call. Through Microsoft Teams,
teachers will be able to create classes and curricula for students and special communication
groups between them and students.
The teacher is also the one who can introduce students to the groups or class that he
equips through each teacher for each educational group he teaches to, and student
assignments may be sent to the teacher through Microsoft Times.
