Moodle content management system user guide
Introduction to Moodle:
Moodle is open-source software and is distributed
under the GNU General Public License. This means
that everyone has the right to download, install, use,
modify, and distribute it for free. It is available on
the Internet. In general, Moodle is characterized by
being easy to install, use, and develop, and includes
activity modules such as forums, resources,
magazines, tests, assignments... etc.
Moodle was designed on educational foundations to help trainers provide an electronic
learning environment. It can be used personally at the individual level, and it can also serve
a university that includes 40,000 thousand trainees. The system's website includes 75,000
registered users who speak 70 different languages from 138 countries and is available in
dozens of languages, including Arabic. Moodle is based on the PHP programming
language.
