Quick evaluation:
- Do a multiple-choice activity every 10-15 minutes to draw attention back to the
topic at hand. It alerts the teacher when further clarification is needed.
Know the number of attendees in one minute:
- Multiple choice activities make it easy to take attendance. Select the correct
answer and allow students thirty seconds to work on their answers.

Word cloud activity is used to:
1. To measure pre- and post-explanation impact: Start with a word
cloud activity to collect students' impressions of a topic. Do the same
word cloud activity after explaining the topic, to see how those
impressions change over the course of the discussion.
2. Sentiment Scan: Word clouds are the quickest way to determine
prevailing attitudes and opinions on a topic. It can also be used to
gradually reach consensus, as the word most frequently used grows
larger as the discussion continues.
