This system aims to enable students to apply electronically for technical institute examinations (five-year technical secondary schools and two-year post-secondary technical institutes) and technical diplomas (three-year technical secondary schools) for admission to faculties (Commerce, Engineering, Agriculture, and Law).
The Supreme Council of Universities is the sole authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt responsible for equating academic degrees (Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s) and postgraduate diplomas awarded by educational institutions and universities not governed by the Law on University Organization. Degrees can be searched from here. The Supreme Council of Universities forms a committee for degree equivalency, which is responsible for reviewing and equating degrees awarded by educational institutions.
