• Merge more than one account for the same researcher in Scopus.
• Search the Scopus database.
• Learn about the Web of Science (WOS).
• Search in WOS indexing
• Extracts citation reports for journals
• Searches the Arabic Citation Index for reference citations
• Use the ProQuest platform
• Learn about the Al Mandumah information databases.
• Search in Al Mandumah information databases.
• Find the organization's classification in the SCIMAGO classification
• Find journal classification in SCIMAGO
• Learn about Open Educational Resources (OER)
• List examples of sites that provide access to open educational resources

Training activities:
• Trainee should be able to create his own account on SCOPUS, manage and search for
his missing articles.
• Merge your accounts in Scopus (if the researcher has more than one account).
• Use the Scopus database to search for articles in your specialty.
• Search WOS for a specific journal or publisher according to his discipline.
• Use SJR database to find SCOPUS indexed journal/Proceeding.
• Extract the citation report for one of the journals in your field of specialization.
• Search the Arabic Citation Index for a magazine or periodical in your specialty.
• Use Al Mandumah’s information base to search for theses or journals in your specialty.
• Search for science videos using the ProQuest platform.
• Discuss with your colleagues the most important differences between Dar Al-
Mandumah’s information base and the Arab Scout, from your point of view.
• Use the SJR private research database and learn about the current and previous indexing
of some journals.
• Search for platforms that offer open educational resources.
