*.xlsx to search for all Excel files

*.jpg Search for all image files

*.dll search for system files

*.zip is a compressed file in Zip format

*.rar compressed file in rar format

File names and extensions

The name of the file or folder must express its content so that it can be referred
to or searched for in the future, and must not exceed 255 characters.

A file extension is used to tell the operating system what type of file it is. When
the operating system sees, for example, .docx, it knows that this file is the native
format of Microsoft Word. When you double-click a file, the operating system will
automatically launch the correct software application and open the file in that
application. Most file extensions consist of three letters.

Task Manager
